LASER
TUBES
Our main business is repairing exhausted laser tubes. CO2
laser tubes can last anywhere from 10 to 20,000 hours depending
upon the hours of usage and the volume of gas contained within the
laser tube. Typically laser tubes come with some type of reservoir
to maintain longevity, along with the proper mixture of laser gases.
A new laser tube, is just that, new. You can purchase a new, sealed
laser tube ranging in power between 20 and 250 watts. While you
can get lesser or greater powered laser tubes, this power range
generally suffices for most small businesses and hospitals. We are
able to customize laser tubes for automated applications.
A used laser tube may be regassed and/or rebuilt to like-new condition.
Almost any core of a CO2 (Argon / Krypton) laser tube
can be remanufactured to its original condition. Our results are
97% effective. Reprocessing is another term often used.
Our evaluation of your laser tube can help us determine the right
course of action to take with your service, thereby, returning the
laser tube to within 95% of the manufacturers original power specifications.
Our results typically provide anywhere from 100% to 130% of achievable,
maintainable power output. Of course, exceptions do apply when some
OEM's sell their tubes well beyond sustainable power output. Limits
also apply due to physics in construction, design and bandwidth.
