Warranty and Handling Terms:
Evaluation Fee: All laser tubes received by Photovac Laser Corp. are subject to a nominal evaluation fee of $500.00 to evaluate the laser tube, optical product or RF product. The evaluation fee covers the inspection and evaluation of the laser or optical device and provides the estimate to repair the device. If the customer elects to repair the laser tube, optical device or RF product, our evaluation fee will be applied toward the final invoice less any discounts previously announced. If the customer elects not to repair the laser tube, optical product or RF product, it will be returned and the evaluation fee will be charged to the customer, plus any shipping/handling charges.
Reprocessed Warranty: When a laser tube is reprocessed, the system is completely disassembled and inspected. We inspect the partial reflector and high reflector for surface damage. We inspect the laser tube waveguide for warpage and/or any cracks or breaks in the laser tube waveguide or cooling jacket. We inspect the anode and cathode electrical condition and connections. We inspect the front adjustment mount (if applicable) and the rear adjustment mounts (if applicable) for any worn adjustment screws or securing nuts and bolts. Upon this review, the laser tube is cleaned, evacuated, leak tested and recharged with one of several proprietary gas mixtures and re-combination gas catalysts. Our warranty covers the recharging of the laser tube, laboratory alignment, and labor for one full year. If your laser tube product fails due to a gas failure, we will recharge the laser tube and provide our labor on a 12 month prorated period to repair the product for the remainder of the warranty period. If the product fails for any other reason, you will be contacted with an estimate for the approval and repair of the laser tube.
Remanufacture Warranty: When a laser tube is remanufactured, the system is completely disassembled and inspected. We inspect the partial reflector and high reflector for surface damage. We inspect the laser tube waveguide for warpage and/or any breaks or cracks in the laser waveguide or surrounding cooling jacket. We inspect the anode and cathode electrical condition and connections. We inspect the front adjustment mount (if applicable) and rear adjustment mount (if applicable) for any worn adjustment screws and bolts. We replace any parts including, optics, electrodes, mounts, glassware, electronics, or any other necessary item to make the laser tube perform to its original or greater manufacturer power guarantee upon your approval. Upon replacement of any parts, we clean, evacuate, leak test, recharge with one of several proprietary gas mixtures and re-combination catalysts and align the system. If this product fails due to the replacement of such parts, or the product fails due to a gas failure, we will repair the product and provide our labor on a 12 month prorated period, in some cases an 18-month period or the remainder of the warranty period. Photovac’s warranty does not cover electrical surges, cooling failures or other acts of God.
RF Circuit Boards / RF Power Modules: RF circuit boards, control boards or electronic repairs made by Photovac Laser are covered for a 90-day period. RF exciters and Power Modules are covered for either a 90-day period or a 6-month period depending upon the type of service performed. Photovac only warrants repairs made to the electronics that are noted on the customer’s service report, tube data report or customer invoice. Any component failures within the exciter that were not part of the original repair are not covered under the warranty and will incur further charges to repair the exciter or power module upon the customer’s approval. Photovac warranty does not cover electrical surges or other acts of God.
Laser System Warranty: Photovac warranties all of its laser system electronic repairs for a 90-day period and laser tube for a 12-month prorated period; in some cases 18-month period. The warranty includes parts and labor for work performed by Photovac employees or agents at Photovac facilities. If a repair is requested in-field, Photovac Laser standard service call rates will apply. Photovac warranty does not cover pre-existing manufacturing defects.
Laser System Sales: Customers who purchase laser tubes and systems from Photovac Laser receive a warranty with their purchase. Depending upon the type of laser purchased, the warranty period can range from 90 days to a full 18-months. All laser tubes and laser system purchases are final. NO refunds will be given after 10-days upon receipt at the customer’s facility. (Less Defective Core Return Credit)
Limited Product Warranty: Photovac Laser Corporation Inc. warranties all of its original new products free from manufacturing and labor defects for one full year unless otherwise stated in writing.
Alignment: All laser tubes require alignment from time to time. It may be necessary for the customer to align the laser tube (if applicable) to restore the tube to the original power specifications sent to you upon installation. If your results are not within 5% of Photovac tube data power and mode specifications provided during the original installation, Photovac should be contacted immediately.
Glass Cooling Warranty: Photovac Laser Corp. will NOT cover ANY laser tube product that has failed due to improper water or dielectric cooling. We do NOT cover ANY laser tube product that has failed due to any electronic or mechanical device such as over-temperature sensors, flow indicators, flow sensors, pump coolant failure that may cause the laser tube to crack.
Glass Handling Warranty: We do NOT warranty ANY laser tube product that we deem has been handled in a reckless or negligent manner.
QUICKIE EXCHANGE PROGRAM – TERMS WARRANTY AND CONDITIONS
Photovac Laser Corp. “us” will warranty our original exchanged laser system for a one-year prorated period or RF exciter for either a 90-day period or a 6-month period upon shipment from Photovac Laser facilities. The customer is solely responsible to provide and return an identical laser system to qualify for a customer refund. The laser system or RF exciter received must not have been worked on, or have any attempt of aborted repairs. The laser system or RF exciter must be in good cosmetic condition. The laser system and/or RF exciter returned to “us” may be operational or non-operational. The laser system and/or RF exciter shall not show indication of moisture damage, nor shall it exhibit corrosion from salt/sea/air/water environments. If the exchanged defective laser system or RF exciter is deemed (non-exchangeable) by “us”, the customer will be charged the full retail cost published on Photovac’s website or unpublished price lists. Customers will have the option to return the original exchanged laser system and/or RF exciter after a 10-day period from Photovac Laser notice of receipt of the customer’s defective laser system or RF supply. The customer must return the equipment in the same original condition as received. The customer is solely responsible for all shipping to and from Photovac. Shipping includes the original exchanged system and the customer’s original defective system. Upon return of an original exchanged system, Photovac will refund the customers money less any evaluation fees, damages or any other fee incurred by Photovac Laser. Limited Electrical/Electronic Warranty: Photovac warranties all of its power supply, electrical, or electronic repairs for a 90-day period. Photovac Laser does not warranty products that may have been damaged due to improper installation, other component failures, electrical surges or shorts, or acts of God.
Storage Fees: All customer products receive a 30-Day storage grace period upon completion of laser repairs notified by the invoiced date to the customer. On the 31st day, storage fees for the laser equipment will be charged a daily fee of $10 per day for repairs <$5,000.00. Repairs >$5001 will be charged a storage fee of $20 per day. All storage fees must be paid prior to any laser equipment shipped from Photovac Laser facilities.
Shipping/Handling: It is the customer’s sole responsibility to pay for all shipping and handling of warranty and non-warranty items to and from Photovac Lasers laboratory’s facilities. It is also the customer’s responsibility to pay for any insurance charges the customer may elect to be placed on the warranty or non-warranty item(s). If Photovac Laser provides shipping, Photovac will only insure the package(s) for $5000.00 USD Maximum allowable amount. Failure of non-returned warranty items: Failure of the “customer” to return warranty equipment shall be billed at the rate of the original purchase or exchange cost plus interest. An interest rate of 29.9% annually shall be applied to all non-returned equipment. Failure of returned equipment is the customer(s) sole responsibility unless otherwise approved in writing my Photovac Laser Corp.
Stale or Abandonded Equipment: Photovac Laser allows up to one-year for customers to retrieve their laser tubes or laser equipment upon payment of the invoice amount, plus interest charges and/ or storage fees. Photovac Laser considers the lasers tubes or laser equipment left at Photovac Laser facilities more than 365-days abandoned. After this period the lasers tubes or laser equipment shall become the sole property of Photovac Laser Corp. At the discretion of Photovac Laser Corp., any lasers or laser equipment abandoned after the 365-day period may be sold, scrapped or otherwise disposed of.

invoice). This is an ACH Bank Transfer and payment can only be

There is a $50 wire transfer fee for each transfer amount up to
$5000, or $75 wire transfer fee for each transfer amount $5001
and up. Product is shipped once payment is posted to Photovac’s

5. Business Check. Photovac Laser accepts business checks, however,
