CO₂ Laser Tube Recycling Center
Photovac Laser Worldwide — America's first certified recycling center for sealed CO₂ RF laser tubes.
Photovac Laser Worldwide is proud to be the USA's first Recycle Center for old sealed CO₂ RF laser tubes. This program is exclusively for CO₂ RF sealed laser tubes — glass laser tubes are not included, as they do not contain the same hazardous materials.
All sealed CO₂ RF laser tubes contain materials that are hazardous to our landfills and the environment. Some of these materials include Beryllium Oxide and Alumina Oxide. At Photovac Laser, we properly dispose of your old laser tubes and their contents in an environmentally responsible way.
What We Accept
Accepted
CO₂ RF sealed laser tubes (all brands and models)
Not Accepted
Glass CO₂ laser tubes (non-hazardous — not included in this program)
Why Proper Disposal Matters
Beryllium Oxide (BeO)
A highly toxic ceramic compound used in RF laser tube construction. Improper disposal poses serious health and environmental risks.
Alumina Oxide (Al₂O₃)
An abrasive compound found inside sealed laser tubes that requires controlled disposal to prevent environmental contamination.
Sealed RF Tube Components
Internal RF exciter materials and sealed gas mixtures require certified handling and cannot be safely discarded in standard waste streams.
